The Ordinary

Wanted to take a photo journal of this here plant. It's only Day 3 so far but let's enjoy her journey to full bloom- osity! *TL: Day 1 :::*BL: Day 2 :::::*Rt: Day 3. Stay Tuned for the grand finale!

Did a little jewelry repair. Lots of jewelry can be repaired and designed with a jewelers needle nose pliers. Its a must have for all you fashionistas.  Ohh...that's a photo from May 2014 San Diego Magazine. It an article about weekend getaways. The gorgeous azul tile pool is at Hearst Castle.  No relation just happenstance.

Worked on a recipe for a skin polish/scrub. Here's the directions for the pink grapefruit body scrub:
1/2 cup Himalayan Pink Salt (fine or med ground) (any sea salt)
1/4 cup monoi oil (or other oils like coconut, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, etc.)
12 drops of grapefruit essential oil (optional)
4 drops of geranium essential oil (optional)

Mix and apply to wet skin. Gently scrub. Rinse.

If you're new to homemade body scrubs. I sooo recommend them! There are no parabens. I'm pretty certain you have two ingredients in your kitchen right now! Table salt or sugar and olive oil.  It is such a luxurious treat. You too can slough off some of that winter coat. And its perfect to use before a self tanner especially scrub the elbows, knees, ankles. Self tanners are more believable on even skin.

Lastly, I have received a request on how I stay fit at 44 and another question regarding skincare. I will share what works for me in another post. Thank you!! I truly truly appreciate your feedback. So let's keep rollin..

This is what I look like constructing this post! Aloha!
Ps. My cat's bed is propped inside out on the chair next to me. That's how she likes it!
