This is one of the reasons why juicing with kale and other dark leafy greens is so popular!
Ok. so now that you've added this stuff to your juicing regimen. I want you to take it one step further...like for the skin! That's right I'm talking on your face!
Here is what I did. I took about 1/2 cup of organic spinach and 1/2 cup organic kale (tough center stem removed). Add a tablespoon or two of organic yogurt (this time full fat is fine). Run it through a blender (high speed blender preferred). Transfer into a (non-metal) bowl. At this time the mixture is somewhat runny but since we want it to be rather thick - stick to your face for 20 minutes thick.
I added a green superfood in powder form. I kept adding to the mixture to get a thicker consistency, probably about a teaspoon worth. If you don't have the powder you can substitute with honey.
I ended up with enough to cover my face and my elbows and forearms. Leave it on for 20 minutes.
Wear old clothes and cover your work space. When rinsing-- do it over the kitchen sink for pipes sake.
I am forty-four years of age and my skin has seen better days but I had to share this face/body mask with you because I'm seriously impressed with how refreshed my skin appears after using the mask! It feels clean, fresh, soft...appears more hydrated.
This Face Mask is recommended:
-after a long road trip -after Coachella
-after a long day at work -for your Mom
-with sisters -for yourself
-with friends -because you want to!
Product I used can be found here! (I used the 'Orginial' pictured on the left) (No, I'm not sponsored, paid, bribed to state claims of any kind.)
That is all for today. Thanks for stopping by.
