Photography

Last year I received an Olloclip which is a handy dandy tool that fits over the Iphone allowing me to take photos using a Macro lens or a Fish eye (aka. wide lens). This is what the Olloclip looks like.

and below is just a sample of some things I captured with the Macro lens...it can be used for a variety of things. It's ideal for close up shots.

Some wide lens pictures...
this was taken from the pier looking down..
this was taken at a thrift store

Taking photos has affected my life in profound ways. I appreciate sunsets, learned some plant and insect names. I plan outings and absorb my surroundings with a new pair of eyes! I find myself checking websites for surf conditions, sunset times or I see a hillside or a fence, butterfly, bridge or some landmark or unique architecture and just want to capture it in a certain light or angle. Then there is editing photos-- some photos need no edit whatsoever but I can edit a photo to my heats content. It's great!

“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”

Well my iphone camera is certainly not THAT sophisticated, however, moments are equally as fleeting!
